About WiREAD+

WiREAD+ is a web-based collaborative critical reading and learning analytics environment built to enhance the previous WiREAD. It focuses on three areas of augmentations (technical, analytical, and pedagogical). The earlier WiREAD prototype was trialed with over 1000 students and 5 schools since 2015. WiREAD was co-designed with teachers, school leaders, and policymakers. Some of the learning gains include promoting students’ critical reading skills, metacognition, and self/peer-regulated learning. More details on WiREAD and the project findings can be found here.

WiREAD+ is funded by the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) under the Education Research Funding Programme (DEV 02/18 EK), administered by National Institute of Education (NIE), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
